Robert Half Financial Services are hiring for an AVP Trade Operations role within a global asset management firm located in midtown Manhattan New York. Our client requires 3 to 6+ years Trade Operations or Middle Office experience within an asset manager or investment bank, with knowledge of Fixed Income, Securities, Derivatives, FX. The role is hybrid remote requiring 3 days per week in the midtown Manhattan office.

Responsibilities

• Cover the full trade lifecycle across Fixed Income, Securities, Derivatives, and FX.

• Trade confirmation, settlement, trade breaks, cash reconciliation, payments and corporate actions.

• Utilize trade management systems such as DTC, Murex, Aladdin, and process SWIFT and Fedwire payments.

• Interact with traders, custodians and brokers.

• Testing/UAT with various systems, Project work and trade break root cause analysis.

• Point of contact for Product Control, Internal/External Audit, Compliance.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6+ years Trade Operations or Middle Office experience within an asset manager or investment bank

• Knowledge of Fixed Income, Securities, Derivatives, FX.

• Comfortable with Excel and exposure to DTC, Murex, Aladdin, SWIFT, Fedwire.

• Bachelors in Finance related subject desirable.

• Must have excellent communication and organizational skills.

This AVP Trade Operations role requires someone to work 3 days per week in the midtown Manhattan office so please only apply if you are able to travel to this location, have relevant experience for the role, and are eligible to work in the United States.
