The Opportunity
This opportunity to join the Department of Pediatrics at the Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons at the rank of Associate Professor is an exciting one. Columbia University Irving Medical Center, one of the nation's foremost academic health science center's working together with one of the nation's premier health systems, New York-Presbyterian Hospital.
Key Responsibilites
- Initiate and Prepare Grant submissions for federally funded projects.
- Lead The Development of Protocols for Biospecimen collection and Storage.
- Lead and/ or Contribute to the Authorship of Scientific Manuscripts.
- Lead and/or advise on data analysis and interpreration of Scientific results.
- Mentor Junior Scinetitst, including staff, postdocs and/or graduate Students in analytical science, biospecimen collection and analysis, and Biomarker development.
- Participate and Contribute to Institutional and Research programs and activities.
