Associate, Business Operations

Location: New York, NY; Santa Clara, CA

Role: As a Business Operations Associate, you will play a key role in developing insights and recommendations for Chegg's Learning Services group. You will work with functional leaders to drive business performance and manage operational levers. You will be responsible for analyzing data, identifying gaps and opportunities, and crafting narratives to drive business decisions and power growth.

Responsibilities and Requirements: Individuals will be responsible for meeting the criteria as described below. Individuals should provide examples of their ability to meet the expectations of the role, demonstrating a proven track record of capability.

  • Analyze market trends, customer data, and business operations to identify gaps and opportunities
  • Research new customer segments, product categories, and content areas
  • Develop business cases for new growth opportunities, including rigorous business & financial modeling
  • Contribute to strategy and execution within the Learning Services portfolio
  • Develop relationships with decision-makers across the organization
  • Collaborate with Product, Analytics, Marketing and Consumer Insights teams to generate actionable insights and drive their execution
  • Present insights and strategic recommendations to the executive team

Required Qualifications and Skills: All individuals should hold the following qualifications, or have equivalent experience, as applicable. All individuals should be able to provide examples of the indicated skills and competencies.
  • Minimum of 2-4+ years of experience in management consulting, business operations, corporate strategy, or equivalent experience in a technology/media company
  • Operational and/or strategic experience, preferably at a fast-growing company
  • Demonstrated ability to drive business insights and operational improvement in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
  • Highly analytical, strategic, and creative thinker with strong business judgment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and inspire others
  • Experience in communicating and interacting across an organization to share, inform, improve and maintain an open dialogue
  • Passion for improving people's lives through education

The pay range for this position is $85,372 to $158,548. The actual pay will vary based on geographic location, job requirements, professional experience, and other factors.
