Description

Our client, an innovative and highly recognized Nonprofit, is currently seeking a diligent, dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Accounting Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a highly visible role and effect change with a mission-driven organization. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Assistant Accounting Manager will be responsible for supporting the completion of the month-end close, preparing monthly account reconciliations, assisting with the implementation of internal controls, and preparing annual financial statements. This position will also assist with developing controls, policies and procedures, as well as addressing technical accounting issues. Requirements

• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or related field

• 4+ years of experience

• Nonprofit & private sector backgrounds welcome

• Strong GAAP experience

• Strong MS Excel skills
