TRG Management LP in New York, NY is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Office of the Chief Investment Officer (OCIO) to conduct quantitative analyses of information involving investment programs or financial data of public or private institutions, including valuation of businesses. Job responsibilities and duties include: - Source & evaluate platform buyout deals in the IT/Business services space; lead all aspects of DD streams, build & maintain financial M&A/valuation models, collaborate with finance & legal on structuring and negotiation on the SPA/documentation. - Lead the review of portfolios, investment teams and track records that the firm may consider as part of strategic acquisitions incl. managing weekly IC meetings to evaluate TRG’s private market business line. - Support restructuring and turnaround efforts in special situation within TRG’s current portfolio across emerging markets in private equity and credit space. - Oversee junior staff for risk management and valuation related functions, including but not limited to deal assessments, portfolio management, and performance presentations. - Co-lead the valuation process for all of TRG’s private market funds; synthesize quarterly KPI’s to identify mispriced investments with outsized value-creation potential. - Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes. Manage and provide updates on the deal pipeline across all private markets. - Prepare post-exit case study write ups. - Review funds carry at a point in time and projected values, including sensitivity analysis of underlying assumptions. Position does not supervise the work of others.Minimum requirements: Master’s degree in Finance, Global Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Risk Management or in any related field of study plus at least three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related position(s) In lieu of the above, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Global Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Risk Management or in any related field of study plus at least five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related position(s) Qualified candidates must also have demonstrable knowledge, skill, experience, or proficiency in the following: - MS Office including Excel and Powerpoint - Financial Modeling and Valuation - CAPIQ market intelligence platform - S&P iLevel No Travel, Work from home (WFH) benefit available.Additional Information:•Job Site: 65 E. 55th St., Flr. 15, New York, New York 10022•Salary: $176,571 per year.•Send Resumes To: hr@rohatyngroup.com•No calls.
