Asbestos Paralegal - Hybrid

Beacon Hill Legal is searching for an Asbestos Paralegal for a litigation defense law firm's midtown office. This role has 4 days in office and the salary ranges from $75,000-$85,000.

This candidate should have at least 3 years of defense-side asbestos paralegal experience in a law firm.

Responsibilities:

• Manage case files, including database maintenance, document retention, and production.
• Ensure timely meeting of docket deadlines.
• Assist in coordinating and monitoring local counsel nationwide.
• Prepare and organize pleadings, motions, documents, forms, charts, letters, presentations, and reports.
• Review and summarize depositions and records.
• Prepare for depositions, including creating medical summaries and coordinating with witnesses.
• Perform cite checking for briefs to ensure accuracy of facts and legal citations.
• Prepare for hearings and manage document production.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in defense-side asbestos firm
• Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experienced with e-discovery and document review software.
