JPMorgan Chase Applications Support in New York, New York

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Provide front-line support of franchise critical technology applications for credit and public finance trading. Manage, maintain, and improve the stability and resiliency of applications to ensure business connectivity. Partner closely with traders, external clients and middle office/operational support staff to resolve ad-hoc production issues. Build monitoring platforms and ad-hoc tooling to automate and improve recovery time from technology platform failures. Produce detailed technical assessments of the cause of the problem following major incidents, and apply remediation actions to resolve for distribution to internal and external stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Applications Support, IT Project Manager, IT Consultant, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: SVN; UNIX; Microservices; Java; Shell Scripting; Splunk; Grafana; Geneos; Infrastructure Architecture Disciplines; Linux; Software Development; SQL; Python; Kubernetes.

Job Location: 383 Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10179.

Full-Time. Salary: $156,000-$190,000.00
