Analyst:

We are looking for an Analyst to join due diligence team within Securitized Product in New York City U.S. Asset as well as Residential Mortgage sector. In this capacity, they will perform diligence on whole loan pools that plays an integral role in the financing, acquisitions, securitizations, and transaction management activities of the business. Candidate will join a larger team of analysts and gain exposure to analytics, diligence, data, operational, banking, and trading functions within the overall business. Analysts will be introduced to the fixed income securities markets and will interact directly with financing, trading, structuring, banking and external clients and vendors. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the fixed income financial markets.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics or related field

  • Strong interest in the RMBS/ABS industry

  • Proficient knowledge in Excel

  • Strong data analytical skills and high attention to detail

  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, transaction-oriented environment

  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and have the ability to manage multiple tasks and varying priorities

Ideal Candidate:

  • 1 - 3 years of experience in Mortgage Loan Origination, RMBS, CMBS or ABS is preferred

  • Possesses good communication skills

  • Familiarity with loan and pool level analytics, due diligence, whole loan trading, and securitization of mortgage-related assets is a plus

  • Programming experience (e.g. SQL, Python, VBA, Java, etc.) is a plus

  • Experience in Loan Management System, Warehouse Management System, CAS or Liquidity is a plus

Essential Job Functions:

  • Analyze and provide summarization reporting and tracking for pre- and post-settle deal status, diligence and collateral curative activity, and contractual and regulatory milestones.

  • Review, verify, and maintain highest quality of due diligence data.

  • Act as the liaison between the sellers, vendors, servicers, external counsel and other third parties with respect to due diligence activities.

  • Writing complex queries to analyze enormous mortgage dataset and provide analysis, reports, and historical performance trends and provide DD color to the trading/banking and finance teams.

  • Possesses a working knowledge of all whole loan and securitization business related documentation and market standard procedures.

The annual full time base salary range for this role is

$100,000.00 - $115,000.00

Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies. All full time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
