Job Description

Role Overview:

Join our dynamic team as an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) in our Urgent Care Center (UCC) and Clinical Decision Unit (CDU)! In this role, you'll provide expert care to patients experiencing oncologic emergencies and support those transitioning to our short-stay Observation Unit. Be part of a community of over 900 NPs and PAs at MSK, all committed to delivering compassionate, comprehensive cancer care to patients and their families. Key Qualifications:

• Current New York State (NYS) RN and NP licenses/registrations

• Master’s degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)

• A Minimum of 2+ years of clinical RN or NP experience

• Related National NP certification

• BLS/ ACLS certification

• Previous Emergency Dept, Urgent Care, or Critical Care Oncology experiencepreferred

  OR

• Graduate from an accredited PA program

• NCCPA certification

• Active NYS license or be qualified for state licensure

• BLS/ACLS certification

• Previous Emergency Dept, Urgent Care, or Critical Care Oncology experiencepreferred

  Hours:Night shift 13.5 hours shifts, 7p-8:30a 12 shifts a month * Weekend and holiday rotation isrequired*
