Description

Growing professional services firm is currently seeking an Accounting clerk to join their team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing and executing various accounting tasks and administrative duties. This role is particularly suited for individuals with a strong background in accounting and keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Processing customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency.

• Maintaining and updating customer credit records regularly.

• Resolving customer credit inquiries promptly and professionally.

• Monitoring customer credit accounts and initiating actions for delinquent payments.

• Assisting in collating paper tax returns and e-filing duties.

• Utilizing QuickBooks for various accounting tasks.

• Performing account reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.

• Handling accounts payable and accounts receivable duties.

• Managing invoice processing and data entry tasks.

Requirements

• Must possess at least two years of experience in an Accounting Clerk role or similar

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required

• Demonstrated experience in Billing and Data Entry is necessary

• Should be proficient in Invoice Processing

• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel is mandatory

• Previous work experience in a CPA firm or a similar industry is beneficial

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask
