Position Summary

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for client management, finding creative solutions and producing great work. You should have a strong background in managing affiliate/partnership programs for Fortune 1000 companies. The Account Manager role will report to the VP of Partnerships and Affiliate Outcomes and will manage programs across various financial services products. The primary goal will be to drive affiliate partnerships and generate revenue through effective affiliate marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver results for clients by proposing fresh out-of-the-box ideas, effectively managing key client objectives, partner relations and monitoring program performance
  • Develop and implement affiliate marketing strategies to achieve business objectives and revenue targets
  • Support the launch of new affiliate programs from project plan development to achieving all milestones
  • Technically and in easy-to-understand language explain implementation, link creation, report generation and technology platform use
  • Identify, recruit, and onboard new affiliate partners, ensuring a diverse network of high-quality affiliates
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with affiliates, providing ongoing support, guidance, and communication
  • Monitor and analyze affiliate performance metrics, optimizing campaigns to maximize conversions and revenue
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting & reporting --- manage client budgeting process, as well as monthly/weekly/daily forecasting and reporting
  • Lead strategic partner recruitment and optimization
  • Passion for emerging media and the digital marketplace in general - demonstrates interest and initiative to test new partner types and tactics with client input and acceptance
  • Effectively communicate performance to the client and wider team with strategic direction for the program; lead the presentation of performance to the client
  • Present, justify and advocate for all recommendations to the client
  • Provide recommendations for scale and/or efficiency within the affiliate program
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product, to align affiliate marketing efforts with overall business strategies
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and market developments
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and implement improvement plans for underperforming affiliates
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations to showcase affiliate program performance and recommendations for optimization
  • Ability to establish, maintain, and revise a compliance review process for all affiliate marketing content

Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in related field and/or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years' experience working direct for Brand or within an Affiliate technology, or agency environment
  • Experience working with top-tier brands across multiple markets
  • Strong verbal, written, analytical and comprehension skills
  • Ability to work independently while effectively communicating and delegating to teammates in multiple locales
  • Proficient in managing multiple projects - ability to multi-task, organize, prioritize and structure workload
  • Passion and strong proficiency for emerging media, digital trends, the digital marketplace in generaland best practices
  • Experience with leading affiliate platforms including Impact, CJ, Partnerize, and Awin; any certifications are a plus
  • Adept at leveraging these platforms to drive performance and achieve client goals.
  • Strong understanding of the affiliate marketing ecosystem, including publisher relationships, campaign analytics, and performance optimization.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within an agency setting, delivering results for diverse clients through strategic planning and execution.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively communicating with the team
  • Ability to collaborate and work within a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft suite of products, including Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Desired Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience with financial services clients a plus
  • Familiarity with tools like Asana, SFDC, Hubspot, Tableau and other BI tools is a plus

The salary range for this position is posted below. Salary Range
$90,000-$100,000 USD
