How you'll make an impact:

SiriusXM Media is looking for an Account Executive on Growth Sales Team who will play a critical role in developing and managing successful advertising programs for key clients. This individual contributor will be responsible for closing new business, maintaining and growing existing business with advertisers and ad agencies.

What you'll do:
* Prospect and close new business while focused on developing and growing current book of business.
* Ensure that our clients receive the highest level of sales and operational customer service.
* Execute and deliver high quality responses to all RFPs.
* Manage activity using Salesforce.com as well as all other internal reporting tools critical to our business.
* Create innovative sales presentations, incorporating industry research, prospecting tools and campaign performance data.
* Negotiate pricing and contractual agreements.
* Prospect and develop key senior level ad agency and company relationships in order to effectively build and maintain ad revenue vs. budget.
* Actively participate in trainings and growth opportunities that are provided by SXM Media

What you'll need:
* Must have 2-3+ years digital advertising sales experience.
* Must have prior relationships with brands/agencies.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Extensive contacts and relationships with leading agencies and clients
* Deep understanding of the advertising marketplace with a focus on audio, mobile and digital platforms
* Experience in Programmatic is a plus.
* Experience with Digital measurement is a plus.
* Extensive knowledge of interactive advertising with regard to positioning and technology
* Ability to develop and manage a consistent sales pipeline in Salesforce.
* Proven track record of exceeding goals
* Must be creative, smart, and passionate, as well as a problem solver and a team player.
* Entrepreneurial spirit driven to achieve sales goals.
* Good public speaking and presentation skills.
* Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
* Ability to pay attention to details and be organized.
* Ability to project professionalism over the phone and in person.
* Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Commitment to "internal client" and customer service principles.
* Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.
* Creative writing ability.
* Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
* General understanding of Salesforce
* Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $78,500 to $85,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
