Pfizer GAV Financial System Project Administrator in New York City, New York

The GAV Financial System (FS) Project Administrator is an integral member of the Global Access & Value (GAV) Innovation and Operation team. The FS Project Admin is essential to the development and management of GAV budgets that impact GAV stakeholders. The FS Project Admin combines strong financial systems expertise with excellent project management principles, while understanding GAV needs, with the goal of seamless operations for the business.

The FS Project Administrator is a part of a working environment where colleagues understand and exhibit customer-focused professionalism with honor and integrity. The role reports to the Financial Systems Team Lead within GAV Innovation & Operations. The FS Project Admin will partner and collaborate with all colleagues from across GAV including supporting partners from Finance, Legal, Tax, Sourcing Operation and RD Business Transformation Office.

RESPONSABILITIES

  • Act as the single point of contact for assigned GAV team and support all business needs within the POD system

  • Have a detailed understanding of the POD system and awareness of appropriate SOP's, business processes, and financial workflows

  • Responsible for the creation and management of financial records (WBS, PO, EPAY) for each GAV team

  • Responsible for managing POD for a moderately complex GAV team structure with a set number of stakeholders

  • Accountable for the administrative and operational management of assigned GAV team finances within the POD system

  • Proactive partnership with GAV team representative(s) to ensure GAV team financial data is always up to date for business use

  • Collaborate and align with key internal stakeholders and other external GAV Pfizer colleagues for consistency and alignment as appropriate

  • Provide on demand financial reports from POD to GAV team colleagues to enable business alignment

  • Drives implementation of appropriate SOP's, business processes, etc...

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of external stakeholders to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED minimum required

  • BA/BS degree preferred

Experience

  • 6 years of relevant professional experience required in project management, budget, finance, or financial management information systems

  • Demonstrated ability to apply agile thinking to approaching tasks by being flexible to new ways of doing things

  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate open discussion among key stakeholders and build internal and external relationships through influencing, partnering, anticipating needs, fulfilling expectations

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, compile and report insights and impact data

  • Demonstrated expertise in Business software including Excel and PowerPoint

  • Must be independent, pro-active, self-motivated with strong organizational skills and possess the ability to manage priorities

  • Capable of comprehending and communicating in a clear and concise manner

  • Demonstrated record of sound judgment and intelligent decision-making

  • Fluency in written and spoken English required, with excellent communication skills

  • Experience in SAP, Ariba, and other Pfizer Financial processes would be a plus

The salary for this position ranges from $34.71 to $60.85 per hour. In addition, this position offers eligibility for overtime, weekend, holiday and other pay premiums depending on the work schedule and the Company's policies. The hourly salary for this position in United States - Pennsylvania - Collegeville is $32.81 to $54.69.

The salary for this position ranges from $35.23 to $61.77 per hour. In addition, this position offers eligibility for overtime, weekend, holiday and other pay premiums depending on the work schedule and the Company's policies.
