We are currently looking for a Process Engineer to join our Process Engineering group within Westinghouse Parts Business at our New Stanton, PA site.

The Process Engineering group is responsible for maintaining production data associated with the thousands of products delivered by Westinghouse Parts Business annually. Much of this activity occurs within our production system (SAP) through maintenance of Material Masters, Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Routings (instructions detailing manufacturing process, source of information for shop travelers). Process Engineering works closely with Procurement/Design Engineering to translate design requirements into an executable package within SAP.

TheProcess Engineerwill be expected to actively support efforts to achieve operational excellence by defining/maintaining the systems and processes underlying the Parts Business.

Your Day to Day: Develop/Maintain/Enhance systems to support business processes including basic hands-on software development and translation of business rules into executable packages for software developers. Authorize release of SAP master data for the procurement/manufacture of materials prior to order sourcing. Ensure minimum standards are maintained for released materials to minimize delays in fulfillment process. Develop standards and improve data structures to ensure effective use of SAP by providing proper visibility and tracking of all materials. Actively participate in site-wide continuous improvement initiatives. Benchmark operational practices against industry including exploration of technologies to enhance operational performance. This role is expected to work predominately in-office. Periodic remote work will be available upon achieving basic role proficiency.

Who You Are: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline required. 0 - 2 years' experience. Has basic manufacturing knowledge for products including built-to-print mechanical, electro-mechanical and instrumentation & control (I&C) components/assemblies. Requires strong communication skills to interact with and obtain feedback from numerous functional groups in the order fulfillment process. Requires firm commitment to procedural integrity and willingness to support/lead process improvement initiatives. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) required. Additional capabilities, including Microsoft Power Automate, desired. Basic proficiency in at least one computer programming language desired. Knowledge and experience with SAP PP, MM and QM modules desired. Why Westinghouse?
