Atlantic Health System Equipment Tech in New Providence, New Jersey

Responsible for assisting the surgical team before, during, and after surgery, maintaining a sterile environment.�

Principal Accountabilities:

  1. Clean and process instruments/scopes in accordance with their IFUs. (Information for use)
  • Responsibilities include maintenance of the clean/dirty rooms and equipment used for reprocessing/storage of instruments/scopes according to Atlantic Health/AMG policies

  • Complete required documentation of processes and maintenance

  • Continuing education in infection prevention and patient safety will be required . Other related duties as assigned

  • All other duties assigned

Required:

  1. High School Diploma or GED required

  2. Previous healthcare experience preferred

  3. Role may require specialty knowledge, skills, and abilities based on assignment in one or more of the following areas: Anesthesiology, Cardiac/Telemetry, Delivery Room, Intensive Care Unit, Neuro/Medical, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Operating Room, Pediatrics, Respiratory Therapy
