This position is part of the Pall Aerospace Facilities department and will be located onsite in New Port Richey, FL. The work schedule is typically Monday thru Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM but flexible scheduling due to business needs as well as overtime are routine. This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required. Any offer of employment is contingent upon Pall obtaining the necessary employment visa and export authorization, including, if required, an export license from the applicable U.S. government agency.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Install, diagnose, repair, wire, and maintain a variety of electrical and electronic equipment and controls related to production and building equipment. This includes, but is not limited to, motors, pumps, relays, circuit breakers, electronic machine controls and circuits, computers, printers, and other equipment.
Fabricate complex parts to blueprint and working instructions using various hand and power tools. Work from wiring diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
Maintains preventive maintenance schedules and records as needed including completing all necessary paperwork as required including scorecards, hazard recognitions, routers and data. Trains co-workers and supports continuous cross training improvements.
The essential requirements of the job include:
High School diploma or equivalent (i.e. GED) and minimum of three (3) years of related manufacturing machine maintenance experience.
Computer proficient in Word, Excel, Lotus Notes or Outlook, and searching internet for maintenance related solutions.
Continuous mental and visual attention is required. Required lifting weight: Minimum of 35 lbs. Lifting frequency: Daily. Required to stand for long time periods (for a minimum of 8 hours or more). Frequently twist and bend. Be able to work with solvents, oils, and other chemicals. Be able to work with machinery with heights (i.e., work platforms).
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
CNC Machine Maintenance.
Trade school degree in electronics or previous electrical repair and wiring experience preferred.
