The candidate will oversee all aspects of payroll operations, including vendor management, systems, and processes & integration, in this Payroll Manager role. Responsibilities
Provide internal safeguards by taking the lead on record keeping and control systems
Propose, lead, and work on projects in an effort to improve current processes
Lead payroll staff as well as operations
Handle pre- and post-payroll auditing/reconciling procedures and troubleshoot anomalies
Provide information to senior executives and cross-functional business leaders and respond to any questions they may have
Partner with other areas in Finance, as well as Human Resources, Tax, IT, and other departments as necessary for reporting, compliance and strategic analysis
Keep track of financial trends by completing payroll analysis
Start a strong team and lead it to much success
Take responsibility for internal and external audits
Work alongside fellow members of senior Finance leadership team
Oversee the production of all weekly, monthly, and special compensation payroll runs. Interpret pay policies (LOA, disability, worker's compensation, vacation, bonus, etc.) and ensure appropriate amounts/deductions are applied correctly to various earnings codes in compliance with all local, state, and federal laws Requirements - Less than one year of experience is acceptable
Certified Payroll Profession (CPP) certification urged
Well versed in a range of payroll applications
Command of International Payroll
Proficiency in payroll
Comprehensive knowledge of HRIS Payroll System
Foundational knowledge in Microsoft Excel
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
To succeed at this position, you should have sound knowledge of payroll-related cloud-based technology solutions
