About This Role

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Reviews Engineering and Manufacturing information such as new and revised designs, specifications, and bills of materials; production, tool, and test equipment drawings; manufacturing plans; operation and routing sheets

• Conducts reviews, incorporate Quality planning, and provide approval for purchase requisitions, purchase orders, design drawings, parts, process plans, and discrete jobs (shop orders)

• Monitors, reviews, analyzes, and interprets data/metrics toidentifytrends, failure modes, chronic/systemic failures, and process variation to improveQuality

• Performs Quality engineering work requiring a high degree of technicalcompetence

• Performs work which involves conventional engineering practice and may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, and difficult coordinationrequirements

• Engages in daily communication and collaboration with Production to ensure Production leaders are aware of andtaking appropriate measuresto mitigate the future recurrence of their defects.

• Interfaces with all other engineering/integrated supply chain functions within the organization and on quality-related issues

• Performs other job-related duties as assigned bymanagement

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or have completed a, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

• Ability to plan, organize and manage multiple prioritiesefficiently

• Ability to interact effectively with management, peers, and other employeesrelativeto quality and technicalissues

• Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast pace, deadline drivenenvironment

• Effective verbal and written communications skills

• Basic Microsoft Office application skills with emphasis in MS Excel (Power BI is a plus)

• This position requires an individual to be a U.S citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance.
