Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Machine Operator for our 2nd shift production in a plant that manufactures concrete blocks. As a Machine Operator, your primary responsibilities will include observing blocks as they come down the conveyor line and check for quality. If there is an issue with the block, you will be required to lift it off the line and place it in a bin for recycling. Additionally, you may need to reposition blocks on the line so that they get stacked properly on skid. This role also includes maintaining a clean work area, assisting with line problems, and potentially hand unloading and stacking blocks. This position requires a mechanical ability as it could eventually lead to a machine operator role requiring adjustments to the machine as needed.

This is a fully on-site position in New Holland, Pennsylvania.

Work Environment

The work environment involves a company that manufactures concrete blocks. It is loud, dusty, and dirty and requires constant walking along the conveyor line and continual evaluation and inspection of blocks to identify any quality issues. Appropriate work attire includes jeans, t-shirt/long sleeve shirt, steel toe boots, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
