Job Description
Aerotek is looking for an Electro-Mechanical Assembler in the New Haven area for an immediate job opportunity. This person will be responsible for assembling large electrical, mechanical, and plumbing sub-assemblies.
Responsibilities
Assemble large electrical and mechanical sub-assemblies
Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
Read and use measuring devices such as rulers, tape measures, squares, levels, verniers, protractors, and formulas
Lift up to 50 pounds
Perform rework of parts including drilling, tapping, grinding, and cutting
Inspect parts for flaws and imperfections
Accurately complete assembly orders within routine timeframes
Maintain a safe working environment for oneself and co-workers at all times
Essential Skills
Experience in electrical and mechanical assembly, or a related trade
Ability to read and comprehend mechanical and electrical drawings
Proficiency in reading and following electrical schematics
Ability to read and use measuring devices
High School Diploma or GED
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
