Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

Aerotek is looking for an Electro-Mechanical Assembler in the New Haven area for an immediate job opportunity. This person will be responsible for assembling large electrical, mechanical, and plumbing sub-assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Assemble large electrical and mechanical sub-assemblies

• Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings

• Read and use measuring devices such as rulers, tape measures, squares, levels, verniers, protractors, and formulas

• Lift up to 50 pounds

• Perform rework of parts including drilling, tapping, grinding, and cutting

• Inspect parts for flaws and imperfections

• Accurately complete assembly orders within routine timeframes

• Maintain a safe working environment for oneself and co-workers at all times

Essential Skills

• Experience in electrical and mechanical assembly, or a related trade

• Ability to read and comprehend mechanical and electrical drawings

• Proficiency in reading and following electrical schematics

• Ability to read and use measuring devices

• High School Diploma or GED

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
