JOB SUMMARY: The Software Developer Technician I plays a significant role in our software development team to ensure the implementation of enterprise solutions. The role involves working collaboratively with users to clarify requirements, as well as working with peers to resolve requirements using tools like .NET, Blazor, React, SQL, and Visual Basic.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (COMPETENCIES):

• Self-govern assigned workload

• Communicate with users and domain experts to clarify scope and requirements

• Assist in developing known solutions

• Implement internal testing practices

• Utilize delivery and feedback pipelines

• Participate in current architecture policies

• Follow internal security policies and help identify potential risks

• Work with peers to implement solutions, share knowledge, and continuously improve

• Perform other duties or special projects as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED is required

• Actively pursuing associate degree or certificate in computer science or a related field; associate degree in computer science or a related field is preferred

• 2 years of work experience is preferred

• Understanding of computer programming fundamentals and concepts

• Understanding of relational database concepts

• Strong internet research and problem-solving skills

• Customer service skills

• Provide own source of transportation for any local/day travel, including travel between Indium Corporation facilities

The actual range will vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, prior experience, knowledge, skill and education as they relate to the position’s qualifications, and internal equity.
