Position Description

We are seeking a Manager, Order Management to lead the optimization of our Order Management organization. This includes developing and designing organizational processes, automating and streamlining workflows, ensuring proper documentation, and maintaining compliance to pass audits. This role involves aligning business strategies with effective solutions to achieve organizational goals.

The Order Management team processes SaaS, services, and hardware orders using Salesforce CPQ and Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP. The team drives process improvements, provides actionable insights, leads and participates in cross-functional projects, oversees backlog management, and fulfills various responsibilities.

What We're Looking For

A highly skilled and experienced Manager of Order Management with a proven track record of leading a team through change, developing the team, optimizing workflows (automation and process), ensuring compliance, contributing to cross functional project teams, and related activities. This role requires strong leadership abilities, and a strategic mindset with tactical know-how.

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).
  • 7+ years of managing Order Management in the high-tech industry, preferably transacting SaaS. (required)
  • Experience using Salesforce CPQ (required)
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a team of approximately 20 team members.
  • Ability to design the order management organizational structure area based upon business needs and order variabilities.
  • Strong understanding of order fulfillment processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. You'll be partnering internally across functions (Sales, Sales Ops., Finance Operations, Installations, Shipping, Customer Support, Legal, and other groups), with external customers and business partners, and across multiple levels of management through senior level
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with order management software (a plus).
  • Demonstrated success in leading change that scaled the organization and workflow, including automation and process improvements in Salesforce and an ERP system, and related technologies
  • Strategic thought leader with tactical know-how
  • Project driver implementing strategic and tactical solutions, often involving collaboration in cross functional groups
  • Compliance mindset, delivering to audit requirements to pass all audits
  • Customer and employee experience focus, supporting a great place to work environment
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing business needs.

Unleash your potential- What you will be doing and owning:

  • Lead and manage a team of order fulfillment specialists, ensuring processes and procedures are well-understood.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize order processing efficiency and accuracy.
  • Establish and maintain high-performance standards for order fulfillment, including on-time delivery rates and accuracy.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order processing time and shipping costs, making continuous improvements.
  • Identify and resolve fulfillment issues promptly to minimize customer disruptions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Sales, Inventory Management, and Shipping to ensure smooth order processing.
  • Stay informed on industry best practices and advancements in order fulfillment technologies.
  • Oversee the implementation of new systems or processes as needed.
  • Generate reports, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Deliver functional expertise on cross-functional projects to scale the business.
  • Represent Order Management in initiatives related to quote-to-cash activities.
  • Ensure compliance with audit requirements (SOX, ISO, internal/external audits) and maintain up-to-date procedural documentation.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned.

The base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $110,000 USD commensurate with work location, experience, skills, certifications, education, and prior accomplishments. The position may be eligible for additional compensation, including a bonus, commission and/or equity, as applicable.
