  • This person will be responsible for planning, monitoring, and executing in a timely manner of all local contract-manufacturing activities including but not limited to machinery, and sub-assemblies.

  • Coordinate with Harsco engineering and quality teams to ensure adherence to Harsco principles and quality are ensured.

  • The incumbent will also be responsible for leading efforts related to customer inspection of locally manufactured supplies by Harsco

  • Conduct periodic meetings with external manufacturing partners/suppliers and with stakeholders to ensure the project progresses as per agreement.

  • The incumbent will support the Project Manager and SCM in negotiating manufacturing schedules with suppliers, to ensure alignment with project timelines.

  • Support PM and SCM in establishing and executing change orders for the local contract manufacturing projects.

  • Additionally, the incumbent will be supporting the Project Manager in preparing Machine-acceptance documents including but not restricted to speed certification, and design approvals by RDSO.

  • BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Industrial, Production, or similar


  • Minimum of 5 years experience in the area of project engineering

  • Experience in supervising, and scheduling manufacturing at vendor or other manufacturing locations.

  • Experience in dealing with customers on projects is desired.

  • Ability to read engineering drawings.

  • Should be aware of engineering materials basically carbon steel/alloy steel

  • Awareness of BIS/ISO standards

  • Some experience in project management.


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams

  • Analytical and Problem-solving skills

  • Project Planning tools (MS Project, Excel, etc)

  • Presentation skills and strong capability with MS PowerPoint

Preferred skills:

  • Project Management training/certification


  • Ability to travel 50% of the time.
