The Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy, Pharmacy Practice and Administration - Health Outcomes, Policy & Economics, Rutgers University Fellowship Program offers a significant opportunity to individuals interested in real world evidence data analytics and the broader field of health economics & outcomes research (HE&OR). Fellowship program provides robust learning experiences related to the science and application of health economics and outcomes research: Health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) methods, Protocol development, IRB processes, Research contracting, Study management, Data collection and data management, Analysis of large and small datasets, scientific writing, and value assessment of pharmaceuticals. The Fellow will spend four days per week at Novo Nordisk working with the Real-World Data and Analytics team in Plainsboro, NJ. One day per week will be spent at Rutgers University's Health, Outcomes, Policy, and Economics Program (HOPE), in Piscataway, NJ. The Fellow will be immersed in designing and implementing Novo Nordisk's real-world evidence studies related to diabetes and obesity while working closely with the HEOR portfolio lead under the direction of the Real-World Data and Analytics team. At Rutgers, the Fellow will engage in academic research, teaching, and publishing. The position is for two years, contingent upon continuing need for this position, availability of funding, and positive evaluation. This position is grant funded. All offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of all pre-employment screenings, including a background check and drug screen. |
