Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cashier to join our hospital team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling financial transactions while providing a excellent and empathetic customer service experience to our patients and their families as well as our hospital employees.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Successful completion of general and department specific orientation

• Some cashier or customer service experience

• Basic math and money handling skills

Preferred:

• Preferable Experience in hospitality, a hospital or healthcare setting

• Bilingual or multilingual abilities

• Proficiency in using Micros

Scheduling Requirements:

• This is a part-time position 12p-8:30pm, 8:30am-5pm and 4:30pm-9:30pm

• The candidatemust be available to work on weekdays and 3 out of 4 weekendsas well as some holidays. Days of the week will vary.

Essential Functions:

• Accurately process all cash and credit payments

• Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families

• Maintain a clean and tidy checkout area

• Handle all questions and inquiries with professionalism and courtesy

• Assist in other areas as needed based on staffing and patient flow.

• Help maintain the cleanliness of the Dining Room when not busy at the register

• Help refill the condiment stations

• Help refill baverages, chips and snacks throuout the dinning room
