Robert Half is offering an exciting opportunity for an AP Specialist to join our client's team located in the New Brunswick, New Jersey area. As an AP Specialist, you will be a key player in our accounting team, ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of high-volume invoices, maintaining detailed records, and providing timely resolution to any issues that may arise.

Responsibilities:

• Handle high volume invoice processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and other technology tools to maintain and update detailed customer records.

• Perform account reconciliation tasks, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.

• Manage the Accounts Payable (AP) function, ensuring all payments are made on time.

• Conduct regular check runs, verifying the accuracy of each payment.

• Use coding invoices to categorize expenditures accurately.

• Handle data entry tasks, ensuring all information is accurately captured and recorded.

• Address and resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

• Utilize various software systems such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to manage and track financial transactions.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.

Requirements

• 3+ years' experience in high volume processing

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP)

• Familiarity with Check Runs and Coding Invoices

• Demonstrated expertise in Data Entry and Invoice Processing

• Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel

• Proficiency in utilizing Oracle for accounting purposes

• Experience with QuickBooks and SAP

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High level of integrity and reliability.
