JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Details Level Experienced Job Location 18 Milwaukee - New Berlin, WI Position Type Full Time Salary Range \$23.00 - \$27.00 Hourly Job Shift Any Job Category Service Technician Description Job Title: Service Technician II Department: Operations Reports to: Operations Supervisor FLSA status: Non-exempt Position Summary: As an HME Delivery and Service Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering and setting up essential medical equipment and oxygen supplies to patients in their homes and healthcare facilities. You will ensure they understand how to use their equipment safely and effectively, contributing directly to their well-being. This role combines customer service, technical skills, and on-the-road independence. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Delivery and Equipment Handling: Safely transport, deliver, and set up a variety of HME equipment, including oxygen tanks and related products, to patient homes and healthcare facilities. Adhere to all safety procedures for transporting and handling oxygen and medical equipment, including proper securement during transport. Efficiently manage your delivery route and schedule to meet service goals and ensure timely delivery of equipment and oxygen. Patient Care and Education: Provide clear and concise instructions to patients and caregivers on the proper use and care of their equipment. Assist with resolving customer equipment problems and complaints in a timely and professional manner. Participate in the paid on-call rotation to provide after-hours service to customers as needed. Administrative and Compliance: Accurately complete delivery documentation, patient visit reports, and other required paperwork. Stay up-to-date on all applicable government regulations FDA, industry standards, and company policies Adhere to all federal and state DOT regulations, including hours of service, vehicle inspections, and safe handling of hazardous materials. Qualification Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in healthcare, customer service, or delivery is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to patients and caregivers. Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn and operate various types of medical equipment. Possess a valid Commercial Driver\'s License (CDL) with a Hazmat endorsement and a current Medical Examiner\'s Certificate. Required to get CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment Must meet all DOT requirements, including pre-employment and ongoing drug and alcohol testing, background checks, and motor vehicle record checks.
