Aegis Mission Essential Personnel Part Time HR Generalist in New Albany, Ohio

The Mission Essential Group, LLC, is currently seeking a Part Time HR Generalist for our corporate offices. The HR Generalist is responsible for support of the human resource functions while maintaining the commitment of ensuring the delivery of excellent customer service. Related activities include supporting, executing, and completing tasks and projects within the following HR disciplines: Onboarding, HR Technology (HRIS, Timekeeping, ATS), Retention, Employee Relations, Training, Talent Acquisition, Workforce Planning and participating in special projects as assigned. Job duties include but are not limited to: *Serve as the main POC for the department's iSupport/Jira page *Responsible for the full new hire cycle for all new hires (issuing & collecting new hire paperwork, responding to questions, tracking, auditing, I-9 compliance, etc.). *Assist with the processing of Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) inquiries and verifications *File and manage Workers' Compensation & Defense Base Act claims; this includes working directly with DBA & WC claims handlers/carriers, claimants, and Mission Essential support staff *Responsible for entry of employee data into multiple systems. *Develop and maintain extensive knowledge of Mission Essential policies and procedures and ensure policies and procedures are followed accordingly *Utilize knowledge and skill set to ensure company is compliant with government labor laws and regulations and develop and implement HR processes, procedures, and documents *Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications *Associate's degree in business or related field *Three to five (3-5) years of working experience or a combination of experience and education *This position requires working experience with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and with completing tasks using spreadsheets *This position requires the employee maintain a professional and cordial attitude at all times when dealing with employees; customer service is a priority *Employee must be detail-oriented and organized *Must demonstrate effective time management *Employee is required to communicate and work effectively with other employees *This position requires the employee to understand verbal and written instructions; employee must be able to complete tasks without specific guidelines *The employee must have the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner as well as the ability to meet deadlines when applicable Mission Essential considers all applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
