An Office Construction Coordinator is needed for a leading construction organization in the southern Columbus metro area (New Albany). The Office Construction Coordinator will work closely with our primary on-site engineers, acting as their supporters. Your main responsibilities will involve processing and coordinating the proper work order documents and ensuring adherence to procedures within an active GC construction site.

Qualified candidates must have 2+ years of related construction engineering/ coordination experience, strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail. Proficiency with BIM 360 is preferred. This contract role is slated to last 6-12 months. Our client is only seeking local talent at this time.

responsibilities:

• Assist primary on-site engineers by processing and coordinating Work Orders and ensuring adherence to procedures in an active data center facility construction

• Gather and review Work Orders, collaborate with the team, and coordinate with subcontractors for the execution of tasks

• Maintain documentation approximately two weeks ahead of scheduled work, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records

• Communicate directly with subcontractors and owners affected by the tasks, providing clear instructions and updates

• Manage tasks from initiation to completion, taking responsibility for their successful execution, with support from the on-site team
