Naval Supply Systems Command SUPERVISORY QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST in Naval Support Activity, Pennsylvania

Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT. Responsibilities You will provide management control, oversight, guidance, support and corrective actions when evaluating the effectiveness of the organization's programs and supply support functions. You will provide appraisals and reports on the status of milestones. You will oversee, evaluate, and coordinate supply support for assigned systems and platforms. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying knowledge as it relates to life cycle logistics in order to provide the full range of logistics support, including: provisioning, allowance development, configuration management, technical data packages, quality issue, vendor surveys, post-production support, and overall program support management; 2) Preparing oral and written presentations, to provide detailed recommendations to actual or potential problems, or to persuade others to adopt technical/quality specific proposals or recommendations; 3) Assisting in efforts regarding staffing, motivation and training to develop all employees and ensuring equitable consideration for training opportunities and nominations for teams and committees; 4) Using knowledge of the technical characteristics of the organization's assigned weapons systems, including knowledge of ILS concepts and policies in order to coordinate and manage projects, programs, and procedures to optimize support of assigned weapons systems.
