Naval Supply Systems Command SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in Naval Support Activity, Pennsylvania

Summary You will serve as a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist in the N97 Submarines and Maritime Industrial Operations Department of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT within the Submarine Logistics Code N976. Responsibilities You will provide management control, guidance, support, and corrective actions when evaluating the effectiveness of the organization's programs and supply support functions for life cycle management of assigned weapons systems and platforms. You will coordinate and manage budgets, projects, programs and procedures to optimize support of assigned weapon systems and platforms. You will advise the Division Director, Deputy Director and other officials internal and external to NAVSUP WSS on problems and possible solutions that fall within the scope of the organization. You will supervise a team and assign work depending on workload and projects on hand, ensuring equality of assignments, with general instructions as to how the work is to be performed. You will provide the technical expertise, leadership, and teaming to ensure that all applicable supply support teammates are successfully executing the mission. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Understanding end-to-end lifecycle logistics support as it relates to materials, systems, platforms, and/or projects; 2) Analyzing and communicating supply system issues and performance with both internal and external partners; 3) Analyzing supply chain issues and recommending possible solutions to mission partners; 4) Supervising a team of employees working collaboratively with good oral and written communication skills.
