Naval Supply Systems Command LEAD SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in Naval Support Activity, Pennsylvania

Summary You will serve as a Lead Supply Management Specialist in the Engineering and Product Support, Source Development Department of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT. #LI-NAVSUPWSS Responsibilities You will analyze reports and trends which require augmentation or corrective actions. You will communicate orally and in writing with all levels on administrative, personnel and technical matters. You will possess a thorough understanding of such specialized activities as technical data interrogation, supply/logistics, data processing and maintenance. You will research, learn and apply a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods to identify, assess, analyze and improve team effectiveness, efficiency and work products. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Monitoring Engineering Support Requests (ESR) work flow in work queue, resolving technical/logistical issues, providing technical and policy guidance ensuring appropriate Engineering Support to the Fleet; 2) Assisting In Service Engineering Activities (ISEA) personnel with the Engineering Support Request System (ESRS); 3) Ensuring that the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision and values are communicated to the team and integrated into the team's strategies, goals, objectives, work plans and work products and services; 4) Articulating and communicating to the team the assignment, project, problem to be solved, actionable events, milestones, and/or program issues under review, and deadlines and time frames for completion; 5) Resolving unique and complex problems resulting from obsolescence issues, lack of technical or engineering direction or diminished equipment support.
