Our client is a leading provider in the rail transport industry, committed to delivering excellence in rail car maintenance and inventory management. We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Rail Car Technician to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage rail car inventory and product inventory accurately.

• Utilize computer systems, including Excel and a tablet, for data entry and inventory tracking.

• Perform physical inspections and maintenance tasks on rail cars, which involves climbing and working at heights.

• Work outdoors in various weather conditions throughout the day.

• Ensure all tasks are completed with a high level of attention to detail to maintain safety and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in using Excel and tablet-based applications.

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods.

• Physical fitness to climb and work on rail cars.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
