If you are a QUALITY professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Copeland has an exciting opportunity for you! Based out of our NATCHITOCHES, LA location, you will provide leadership to the RMA (return material auditor) lab and document control areas, and manage supplier quality process and key performance indicators. You will maintain an effective QMS (Quality Management System ISO 9001-2015 based). You will collaborate throughout the facility to enhance and improve the plant's products and services by optimizing the QMS. Lastly, you will support the assembly quality/manufacturing process and maintain records of quality audits daily. This role helps support the HVACR Americas business.

AS A QUALITY TEAM LEADER, YOU WILL:

• Ensure that incoming material conforms to purchase specifications. Communicate and collaborate with suppliers and corporate SQE to resolve supplier issues at the plant.

• Supervise RMA lab and document control areas.

• Oversee and maintain all the requirements of the ISO9001-2015 standard.

• Assure QMS compliance by developing and maintaining an internal audit schedule, documenting any non-conformances, maintaining corrective and preventive actions system (through ETQ), and other necessary actions required by the ISO standard.

• Facilitate and coordinate all internal and third-party (ISO, UL, Customer) audits.

• Monitor assembly quality processes and maintain quality audit records.

• Report on the supplier quality KPI QMS compliance and corrective actions.

• Support assembly manufacturing operation.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• High school diploma or GED.

• Some technical school and/or basic quality training

• At least 5 years of supervisory experience in a production environment.

• Above-average MS Office skills

• Legal work authorization in the United States – sponsorship will not be provided for this role.

• Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification

• Lean Basic Training

About Our Location

Alliance Compressors LLC develops, manufactures, and markets one through six-ton scroll compressors. Scroll compressors are used in commercial and residential air conditioning units. The current facility is over 365,000 square feet of manufacturing space and over 35,000 square feet of office space. This climate-controlled facility is the third-largest manufacturing business in the area and offers its 650+ employees many opportunities for advancement.
