POSITION: SHIPPING-FORKLIFT OPERATOR

SHIFT: EVENING 3PM-11PM

REPORT TO: SHIPPING SUPERVISOR

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Must make sure that trailers are loaded properly

• Verify that trailer wheels are chocked

• Must be able to operate a pallet jack

• Must help keep area around dock clean

• Must be able to use a scan gun

• Must be able to work in cold temperatures

• Must be willing to work a 35 hour week

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Above average safety and attendance record

• Good communication and planning skills; legible handwriting

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions

• Must be able to work at a safe rate with minimal supervision

• Must be able to work different shifts based on department needs.

• Must be forklift certified

• Other duties will be assigned by supervisor

• Shipping yard truck driver will be a required training
