Location:  Natchez Days:       Monday - Friday Full Time Position Opens 6:45 am to 5:30 pm 

We are needing to hire 2 full time child care workers, and 2 part time child care workers.

The requirements for the job include:

Must be 18 years of age or older

Must have a high school diploma or GED  or higher

Must be able to pass a background check (no felony convictions, no domestic violence convictions, etc).

Must be able to work flexible hours and days Monday through Friday, between 6:45am to 6pm.

Some workers work the closing shift at 6pm, and 2 workers open at 6:45, working the opening shift.  

Therefore, the workers will be assigned hours regarding opening and/or closing of the facility.

*physical requirements: *

 Must be able to care for children from infant to 4 years during school hours, and may also care for after school children up to age 11 years.

 Must be able to lift and care for infants,  supervise and instruct children ages 1 year to 4 years in the classroom and on the playground.  

 Will assist will serving snacks and related food items.  Will supervise nap times, etc. 

 Must be able to change diapers, and clean toys, tables, cribs, etc  as needed in the classroom.   

 Must be able to bend, stoop, and carry classroom items, diaper bags, etc. 

 Must be able to hear, and visually watch the children in the classroom and on the playground. 

Pay will be $8 per hour or higher,  pay increases in increments ( or with childcare related training or experience).  After 1 year of service, 40 hours of vacation are awarded and 7 paid holidays.  After 2 years of service, 80 hours of vacation are awarded.
