As a Warehouse Associate, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring freight reaches its destination efficiently. You’ll work alongside a high-caliber management team that understands the transportation industry.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, and matching purchase orders to sales orders.
Distribute orders to sales associates for processing.
Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, and/or shipped.
Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for both employee and customer traffic.
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures while completing tasks.
Assemble products and participate in inventory counts as needed.
Take check calls from drivers to ensure timely deliveries, validating all load data before marking loads as delivered for accounting purposes.
Monitor daily pickups and deliveries, verifying that loads arrive on time and in good condition.
What You’ll Need to Excel:
Basic written and verbal communication skills.
Basic computer skills.
Availability to work various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends, due to fluctuating freight volumes.
Dock or warehouse experience in the transportation industry is a plus.
Experience loading and unloading trailers.
Familiarity with using handheld scanners.
Ability to apply critical thinking to follow instructions in written, verbal, or diagram form.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 75 pounds.
Capability to load and unload trucks.

Pay Details: $17.00 per week
