Amazon Sr. AI Compliance Specialist, Ops AI Compliance in Nashville, Tennessee

The purpose of the Ops AI Compliance team is to manage Ops compliance with rapidly changing global AI regulations. This candidate acts as a AI compliance subject-matter expert, specifically focusing on strategic management of the builder experience in the Ops AI Compliance experience.

Key job responsibilities

  • Implement and manage the Ops AI compliance workflow.

  • Partner with Ops builder teams to drive the completeness and accuracy of AI compliance documentation.

  • Enhance Ops AI Compliance processes through collection and analysis of builder feedback.

  • Partner with Ops business owners to identify and mitigate AI risks.

  • Identify, gather, track, and report risk metrics to Ops leadership.

  • Manage several projects simultaneously with a sense of urgency.

  • Be comfortable dealing with ambiguity.

  • Must be a good human that enjoys being part of a fun team.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 7+ years in AI Compliance or a related field

  • Experience developing and maintaining regulatory documentation

  • Former role in AI compliance with knowledge of regulatory and industry requirements and standards

  • 3+ years leading projects with tight deadlines

  • Proven knowledge of domestic and global AI regulations and applying them in a complex technological environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • IAPP AI Governance Professional Certification (AIGP)

  • Experience supporting risk management tooling

  • Ability to work on a diverse team or with a diverse range of coworkers

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work with little to no supervision
