Our team is dedicated to excellence, and we are looking for a talented Data Center Solution Architect to join us in our mission to deliver world-class data center solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Center Solution Architect to design solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data center technologies, strong problem-solving skills, ability to write statements of work, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. This position plays a key role in the pursuit of new business, analyzing the client’s business requirements to craft winning and deliverable solutions that are commercially acceptable to the customer. The role holder is responsible for end-to-end design of the total service being sold to the client.

Location - Remote within the US up to 10% travel

Responsibilities:

The role holder is focused on the following for Data Center Solutions (Servers, Storage, Hyperconverged Infrastructure, Public Cloud Infrastructure as a service):

  • Translating business needs into successful Data Center solutions.

  • Generate complete Bills of Materials for Data Center solutions

  • Generate Statements of Work for solution delivery.

  • Design innovative services that excite clients to select Xerox as their top choice.

  • Leads and is accountable for comprehensive, end-to-end solution design for services proposals of a varying size and complexity, potentially including both single and multiple data center solutions.

  • Leads services architecture work stream through deal closure and transition to operational readiness for the client and delivery teams.

  • Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends solutions/best practices

  • Assist with the preparation and delivery of service contract proposals, bids and tenders.

  • Able to articulate the entire service to a client or partner on a technical and business level, clearly identifying benefits and risks.

  • Cross functional engagement supporting shared services and service delivery teams - as well as partner input where relevant - to develop seamless end to end service design for clients.

  • Provides continuous feedback to stakeholders as input for improvements. Shares knowledge with colleagues to make a useful contribution to Xerox knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Servers, Storage, Hyperconverged Infrastructure experience - required.

  • HPE certifications - preferred

  • Microsoft on-premises server product experience required.

  • Recognized as an expert in data center solutions
