Job Summary and Qualifications

Position Summary

Provides development, subject matter expertise, and support for the Centralized Patient Placement Capacity Bed Management Command Center applications. This role requires focus on data analytics, Data Warehouse, GCP, and endpoint outbound validation and data usage. Ensures adequate support for Bed Management applications and all integrations into potential systems, including coordination and assistance with the product implementation and issue resolution, and working with the appropriate IT&S teams (e.g. Networking, Security, Cloverleaf, Clinical Systems, Client Support Services, DBAs, etc.). On-site Facility and appropriate Vendor application resources as necessary.

Major Responsibilities:

Project Development

  • Provide Business Analysis support for the Capacity Bed Management applications business including process flows, identifying pain points, and feature gaps. Requires focus on data analytics, Data Warehouse, GCP, and endpoint outbound validation and data usage.

  • Provides expertise in process design and communicating requirements to product development, external solution providers, testing, and education/training

  • Act as a Product Analyst within Capacity Bed Management with system Integrations, including requirements gathering, design, guiding development, and testing

  • Elicits and documents business, user, functional and non-functional requirements. Creation of requirements deliverables for Transfer/Command Center Products

  • Leads in requirements validation and feasibility analysis with respect to Capacity Bed Management

  • Create high level and detail design specification that will enable, help troubleshooting day to day build activities

  • Estimate work effort required in delivering Capacity Bed Management features and capabilities.

  • Develop and support opportunities for Automation

  • Assist and guide the hardware infrastructure team (on-Prem and Microsoft Azure) in Capacity Bed Management Integration configuration/customization for different environments

  • Accurately report issues and status to project management

  • Possess knowledge and experience with different phases of testing (unit testing, integration testing, performance testing)

  • Possess excellent communication skills to interface with various stakeholders from business consumer to technical staff

  • Be incorporated into vendor development teams from design to deployment of enterprise services

  • Research and become the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the interaction of the Capacity Bed Management source systems as well as interaction with business users

Product Support

  • Lead troubleshooting activities

  • Is subject matter expert for assigned applications

  • Work on assignments involving the use of various technologies both Legacy and new application releases

  • Direct the performance of simple, moderate and complex troubleshooting / Maintenance assignments within the department. Expected to multitask

  • Able to establish and meet due dates

  • Provide after-hours/on-call support as needed

  • Able to build strong relationships within business owners, department and with other project team members

  • Looks for ways to improve how and what we develop and makes suggestions

  • Take ownership of responsibilities, working individually or with teams to accomplish goals

Qualifications

  • Experience with Teletracking Bed/Capacity Management a plus

  • Experience working in large Enterprise Application Saas Model systems

  • Experience with HL7 interfaces to applications

  • Experience with IT security requirements and compliance teams

  • Experience with reporting tools and data warehousing (Micro strategy, Qlikview etc.)

  • Experience with Data analytics, Data Warehouse, GCP, and endpoint outbound validation and data usage.

  • Able to succinctly communicate verbally and in a variety of media

  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate diverse groups of people in a problem-solving environment

  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven leadership skills working with diverse and complex projects

  • Detailed oriented and analytical with good organization skills

  • Must have the ability to prioritize multiple activities and tasks simultaneously and adapt to a rapidly changing environment

  • Strong problem and issue resolution experience and create quality deliverables

  • Possess good written and verbal communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with individuals at various levels within the organization

  • Highly motivated and be able to work independently with little supervision.

Physical Demands/Working Conditions

  • Overtime may be required to meet deadlines

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree Preferred

  • Master's degree Preferred

  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role Preferred

  • Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
