Amergis RN Medical-Surgical - PRN $60hr in Nashville, Tennessee

Experience

At least 1 year minimum in any of these settings Acute Care Med Surg, LTAC, and ICU

RN: Cerner required, no exceptions. Able to take care of patient load of 8 patients. This is not always the case but must understand it could happen.

RNT: Cerner not required, but encouraged if the candidate has it. Able to take care of patient load of 11 patients. This is not always the case but must understand it could happen.

Orientation

RN: 2 days

RNT: 1 days

Day 1: First half of shift is strictly shadowing and going through processes, afternoon of this day they'll take patients (2-3)

Day 2: Full patient load with the Preceptor available for help/guidance and check charting to ensure proper documentation

Call out / Tardy Protocol:

Call (NO texting) Supervisor by 4:30 AM/PM. If the employee knows earlier, please notify Supervisor

Call (NO texting) Supervisor if tardy

Timekeeping

Mobile app (Workforce) / Computer sign in

Day shift: 6:30 - 19:00

Night Shift: 18:30 - 7:00

Attendance is tracked and monitored from Day 1

Tardy is any time after 6:36/18:36

30 min meal break is required. If unable to take one, the corresponding Supervisor needs to be notified to help relief off the floor

Additional Comments

Caregiver should bring pen and paper for taking notes on Orientation. Don't be afraid to ask questions and for help when needed

Huddle: Present to the Cafeteria at 6:30/18:30 to receive assignment and shift notes from Supervisors. Cafeteria is on 2nd floor, end of hall, last room on the left off the main elevator.
