About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through rigorous testing and validation. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve defects, contributing to the delivery of exceptional user experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases, covering functional, performance, and usability aspects of our software applications.

  • Utilize various testing tools and frameworks, including Postman, Playwright, Selenium, and SQL, to automate and execute test scripts.

  • Perform API testing using Postman to validate the functionality and performance of our backend services.

  • Develop and maintain automated UI tests using Playwright and Selenium to ensure the stability and reliability of our user interfaces.

  • Write SQL queries to validate data integrity and accuracy within our databases.

  • Identify, document, and track software defects using a bug tracking system.

  • Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve defects.

  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on software design and implementation.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes and methodologies.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools and techniques.

  • Participate in agile development processes.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer.

  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.

  • Proven experience with test case development and execution.

  • Hands-on experience with Postman for API testing.

  • Proficiency in using Playwright and Selenium for UI automation.

  • Strong SQL skills for data validation.

  • Experience with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Trello).

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with performance testing tools.

  • Experience with mobile testing.

  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

  • ISTQB certification.
