Adecco US, Inc. Product Design Manager in Nashville, Tennessee

Adecco Search has partnered with global manufacturing client to hire a Product Design Manager in Nashville, TN.

The Product Engineering Manager will oversee and lead new product development projects from conception to launch, and throughout product lifecycle. They will work cross functionally with engineering and design teams, production leaders and other stakeholders to coordinate production processes and ensure project delivery.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Plan and manage new product development projects from conception to launch.

  • Evaluate functional and mechanical specifications, suggest improvements.

  • Ensure product design compliance with company, engineering, and agency standards (UL and CSA)

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to determine engineering and manufacturing processes.

  • Monitor product lifecycle, schedules, costs, budgets, materials, and personnel.

  • Supervise personnel, assign responsibilities, conduct evaluations, and participate in hiring.

  • Provide support and technical assistance to ensure project milestones are met.

  • Resolve issues related to product development, testing, scheduling, and technical matters.

  • Conduct market research and competitive product analyses.

  • Communicate project progress regularly and prepare expense reports.

  • Lead the introduction and launch of new products, including presentations and training.

  • Assign and monitor change requests through the company's PLM system.

  • Travel as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from ABET accredited university.

  • 7+ years of experience within product engineering/development preferably within Appliance or HVAC manufacturing industry.

  • 5+ years of project management or leadership experience.

  • Familiarity with standards agencies such as UL and CSA.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.

Pay Details: $120,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year
