About the role

As a CBRE Property Management Managing Director, you will lead a team of Property Management professionals responsible for providing real estate services for the client to ensure that the best interests of the client and of CBRE are met.

What you’ll do

  • Manage the business unit's financial performance.

  • Recommend strategy and tactics for achieving objectives.

  • Provide market analysis and asset positioning consultation.

  • Assist in acquisition underwriting and due diligence.

  • Develop new business opportunities from client identification and solicitation, proposal development and presentation.

  • Maintain ongoing relationship with clients, ensuring that objectives are being met.

  • Anticipate and respond to client's needs.

  • Supervise the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, management plans, monthly performance reports, and variance reports.

  • Ensure the delivery of accuracy, timely, and complete reports.

  • Ensure periodic regular property inspection.

  • Recommend and/or approve alterations, maintenance and reconditioning as necessary.

  • Contract for and supervise vendor services as required.

  • Supervise the planning, budgeting and control of operating and capital expenditures.

  • Oversee and approves the calculation of all special billings.

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-12 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Real Estate salesperson license required.

  • Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.

  • Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.

  • Leadership skills to set, manage and achieve targets with a direct impact on multiple department results within a function.

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

  • Expert organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive attitude.

  • Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
