Job Summary and Qualifications

As the Manager, Global Strategy you will support the development and execution of HCA Healthcare’s global ambitions. In this role you will support the Global Operations team with day-to-day operations including establishing standard processes / procedures, conducting financial modeling / scenario planning, and tracking performance metrics.

Key Competencies

Strategic Planning

• Collaborate with the Global Operations team to develop strategies that align with overall enterprise goals and objectives

• Evaluate viability and prove case for establishing new capabilities in new markets

• Assess location expansion opportunities, including market and sub-market site selection

• Develop detailed strategic plans outlining the steps and resources required for execution of departmental strategies

• Help manage compliance with international and U.S. laws, regulations, and policies and management of risks associated with global operations

• Work closely with the real estate team to manage facility operations and real estate portfolios, including the physical building and infrastructure including managing equipment, utilities, and other components of the real estate

Financial and Operational Assessment

• Conduct detailed analysis to support decision-making, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost-benefit modeling

• Evaluate operational readiness and capacity to support new market entries, identifying any gaps or areas for improvement

• Work closely with the cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new markets into existing frameworks

Competencies

Professional

• Proven experience managing operations in a global and matrixed environment as well as executing location strategy

• Extensive experience in financial modeling

• Possesses excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels in a hybrid, multicultural environment

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred)

• 5+ years of experience in Strategy, Operations or Program Management roles, preferably in a large global organization

• Experience working across geographic regions highly preferred

• Willingness to travel up to 25% of time, including international travel

• Located in or willing to relocate to Nashville, TN
