Actalent Geotechnical Engineer in NASHVILLE, Tennessee

Job Description

Lead safety efforts for the team and ensure adherence to safety rules and guidelines. Create and model a safe work environment, demonstrating safety practices. Promote pre-task planning for all projects. Drive continuous quality monitoring and improvement on projects, ensuring compliance with quality standards and practices. Develop an understanding of project-related risks and protect the company by being familiar with risk policies. Provide high level engineering expertise required for the production and completion of routine and complex projects. Conceptualize initial designs or investigative approaches for major project phases or oversee engineering work on moderately scoped projects. Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate engineering work involving conventional practices and complex features like conflicting design requirements. Review projects requiring innovative investigation techniques, supervise analysis, and formulate recommendations in written reports to clients. Provide technical reviews, training, and make informed decisions based on state-of-the-art technology issues. Lead marketing, sales, and business development efforts, and supervise less experienced engineers or technical support personnel. Serve as an Authorized Project Reviewer.
