Job Title: Commercial Fire Alarm Installer Location: Nashville, Tennessee Job Type: Contract-to-Hire with Full Benefits Job Description: TEKsystems is looking for Entry Level Fire Alarm installers and Fire Alarm Managers to come in and work on their fire alarm team here. This person will be installing/managing MC/ Fire Alarm Cable, programming, some Conduit, and mounting panels, strobes, pull stations, and speakers. This person must know how to read blueprints, install cable, loops, and circuits without supervision. Looking for someone that would be able to work alone, with no mentorship needed. This person will receive full benefits; medical, dental, vision, and 401K. Employees also get paid on a weekly basis. Responsibilities: • Install, maintain, and repair low voltage electrical fire alarm systems in commercial settings. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams. • Install fire alarm devices. • Troubleshoot and repair low voltage electrical systems, including identifying and correcting wiring and connectivity issues. • Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes and regulations. • Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time. • Maintain accurate records of work completed, including time and materials used. • Provide excellent customer service to clients and ensure their satisfaction with the work performed. Requirements: • High school diploma or GED required, associate degree or technical certificate in a related field preferred. • Minimum of 1 years of experience installing and maintaining low voltage/electrical systems in commercial settings. • Knowledge of local and national electrical codes and regulations. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams. • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Excellent communication and customer service skills. • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
