Director of IT Service Management (ITSM) – Elevating Healthcare IT for Excellence & Care

Are you a strategic IT leader with a passion for delivering exceptional service in the healthcare space? As the Director of IT Service Management , you'll take charge of developing, implementing , and continuously improving IT service delivery at Recovery Solutions, ensuring our technology aligns with our mission to provide high-quality patient care and operational excellence .

In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee IT service operations , lead a talented team of IT professionals, and drive service management processes to enhance system reliability, security , and user satisfaction across our facilities. Your leadership will ensure that IT services are not just efficient, but empower the entire organization to deliver the best care possible, while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations .

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop & Implement IT Service Strategy: Design and execute an IT service management (ITSM) strategy that aligns with healthcare operations and business objectives.

  • Optimize IT Service Delivery & Performance: Oversee IT services, including incident, problem, and change management, while ensuring operational excellence.

  • Ensure Compliance & Security: Maintain adherence to healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and HITECH, ensuring secure and compliant IT operations.

  • Lead IT Service Teams & Vendor Management: Foster a culture of accountability and collaboration while managing third-party service providers for seamless IT integration.

  • Monitor & Improve IT Service Quality: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) to enhance efficiency and service outcomes.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field.

  • Preferred: Master’s degree.

Experience:

  • Required: Ten (10) years of IT service desk experience with five (3) or more years in a leadership role.

  • Required: Proven experience with service desk applications, ITIL processes, RMM tools and ITAM tools.

  • Required: Excellent Project Management skills to oversee the implementation of large-scale projects.
