Business Strategy Planning Director, Omnichannel Marketing

Preferred Location : Atlanta. This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The Ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.

The Business Strategy Planning Director, Omnichannel Marketing is a highly visible role responsible for working with the VP of Omnichannel Marketing to identify and implement varied programs and plans that support the achievement of enterprise goals. This role acts as a connector for the organization and operates as a strategic consultant for the Vice President and their leadership team. This individual will help drive a high-performance culture and be a direct extension of the VP in numerous engagements.

How you will make an impact :

  • Understands all aspects of the business and partners with executive leadership to define strategy and successful criteria for the future.

  • Translates strategy into defined tactics, programs/projects priorities, and timelines and ensures alignment and attainment of enterprises strategic plans to turn strategy into reality.

  • Documents strategic priorities such as external environment and reports on customer insight research initiatives.

  • Builds and leverages relationships to provide innovative solutions to complex business problems.

  • Proposes opportunities to improve results based on continuous needs assessment.

  • Responsible for the development implementation and monitoring of line of business planning and project activities.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years of related experience including prior leadership experience and 3-to-5-year strategic planning; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

  • Master’s degree preferred

  • Travels to worksite and other locations as necessary

  • 'Connector’ mindset, adept at building relationships and working to break down silos.

  • Excellent communicator with experience in driving change management.

  • Proactive, steps up to take the lead.

  • Strong analytical skills to support independent decision making and accountability, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent oral, written, presentation and communication skills, and ability to meet in person as needed.

  • Experience organizing and creating presentations ranging from executive presentations to all-hand meetings.

  • Experience working closely and influencing senior executives (VPs, SVP, CxO), and setting expectations on organizational goals.

  • High degree of emotional intelligence, executive presence & attention to detail with a keen understanding of technology and marketing strategy.
