salary: $55,000 - $75,000 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

  • Manage bankruptcy cases and pleadings, including drafting and filing documents with federal courts.

  • Perform administrative duties such as calendaring hearings, organizing case files, and managing logistics.

  • Conduct lien searches, prepare lien summaries, and draft financing statements, deeds of trust, and mortgages.

  • Perform legal research using Westlaw and other online sources.

  • Search business entities and summarize key documents.

  • Draft letters explaining legal claims to clients and third parties.

  • Conduct factual investigations through public records searches, web searches, and client files.

  • Certified Paralegal (3 years of experience is required)
